Mama Made stocking stuffers - support small shops

Small Shop Stocking Stuffers for Toddlers

One of my favorite parts about Christmas has always been stocking stuffers! Even when it was just my husband and I, finding the perfect little items to put in his stocking was so much fun! Of course it only got better once my daughter came along. I have loved finding fun, unique trinkets and items to fill her stocking. This year I decided to focus on filling my toddler’s stocking with something a little more meaningful. I wanted to find items made by fellow moms who are working hard to help support their families.

Why Support Mama Made

One of my best parts about the online community I’ve become a part of via my my blog and Instagram is the other moms I’ve been able to connect with. I put my full-time, out of the home career on hold shortly after having my daughter in order to stay home with her. Soon after making this huge decision, I was able to find out just how amazing and supportive this network of moms out there really was! I have seen so many mamas that have been able to help support their family in some way by taking a huge leap of faith and starting a small business of their own. It’s so inspiring to see and I want to do whatever I can to help them, because I literally am one of them! I know how hard it is to squeeze in work during nap time or be up until the early hours of the morning trying to get it all done because it’s literally the only time you can do it without distraction!

So, maybe you are a mama who is trying to get your own small business up and running, or maybe it’s still just a “dream”. Or, maybe you are perfectly happy working another type of job and just want to support those who do want to be their own boss or stay home with their families. No matter what, when you shop small with a mama run business, you are helping them to do what is best for their family. I saw something on social media once that said, “When you make a purchase from a small shop, an actual person does a happy dance!” I love this! Christmas is the season for giving so join me in helping to give a little business to these mama owned and run businesses! I know they will be eternally grateful.
