I’ve always been a fan of getting a good deal, and although I’m not really a coupon clipper I have found plenty of ways to save a little here and there. Thanks to the internet and smart phones, finding a way to score some free products or save a percentage off of a shopping haul is literally just a swipe away! So, when I heard about Parent Cabin, a website that sends you a box of  samples (some even full size!) each month for FREE, I couldn’t pass up the chance to try it out!

How it Works

Signing up is super easy! All you need to do is visit the Parent Cabin website where you will be instructed to enter your details and answer a few questions about yourself. This will help them make sure to pick samples to send you that you will actually like and use. New Samples are constantly being added, and members of the club will be notified when they qualify for a new sample or samples. You will be able to get a new box each month if there are samples that you qualify for, but they will have to login and request their samples for that month. (Monthly reminders will be sent to login and see what’s new and available.)

What I Thought

Now, I was aware before getting the box that the majority of the samples up for grabs are geared towards expecting moms. So, I knew from the start that I might not have an immediate use for some of the products, given that I’m not currently expecting. With that said, it’s always fun getting a box full of FREE goodies at your door! Here is what was included in my first box: a full size container of Plum Organics Formula, a Kleenex Exfoliating Cushion, a sample of Premama Fertility Supplement Powder and a cute growth chart. I was surprised to see a full sized container of formula in the box. I don’t use formula, but I will be donating it to a local non-profit that helps provide for moms and babies in need and I know they will appreciate it!

It’s always fun getting a box full of goodies in the mail and this sample box from Parent Cabin was no different. Even if I don’t have a need for something in the box, I’ll be able to donate it or save it for when I do!
