I’m a typical Marylander, which means I LOVE crab. Especially with some Old Bay. One of favorite recipes that I have learned from my mom is her crab dip. It is very basic, but absolutely delicious and always a hit. It is super easy too, which you can’t beat π
It can be made ahead of time and left covered in the fridge until you are ready to make it. I wouldn’t leave it for more than a a day. Most recently, I also made some bread, then toasted it for a bit in the oven to eat with it and it was so good! I’ve also used regular crackers, pretzel thins or even celery.
Ingredients:
– 8 oz cream cheese, softened
– 8 oz of crab
– 1/2 cup of light mayo
– splash of lemon juice
– 1/2 tablespoon of Old Bay (use more or less depending on how much you love Old Bay!)
– a sprinkle of cheddar cheese for the top (optional)
Recipe:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Combine all ingredients in a bowl
3. Transfer to baking dish
4. Sprinkle some cheese on top if desired
5. Bake for 30 minutes
Enjoy!
