I’m SO excited about this gift round-up! Probably the coolest I’ve ever done! Talking about ways to empower our daughters just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside! Add Christmas gifts to that topic and you just really can’t top it!
Since before my daughter was born, I was determined that my husband and I would teach her to be strong, smart and kind. Almost 15 months later and our strong-willed amazing little girl is teaching US how to be these things! All we can do is guide her and provide her with opportunities to be who she is and lead by example. Yes, she is still only a toddler but it is never too early to start exposing her to the idea that she can be a “girly girl” AND strong, smart and kind at the same time! All of these gifts do just that in my opinion!
Smarty Girl Dino Leggings
I’ve been obsessed with Smarty Girl leggings for a while now! There is SO much to love about them! First of all, they are adorable! I love that they are a dino print that’s actually cute and in pretty colors. Smarty Girl leggings were created by an awesome mama that was tired of not finding fun prints like dinos on any girl clothes. She wanted to send a message to her own daughter and all little girls that they can grow up to be whatever they want to be. By combining a love of art, female empowerment and STEM and she did just that! Plus, the leggings are made of the softest organic cotton! AND they fit over cloth diapers, which is a huge added bonus if you ask me. I can’t wait to get Easton her next pair in whatever fun prints she comes up with next!
Green Toys Pink and Purple Dump Truck
We love this truck by Green Toys! We are huge Green Toys fans! They make their toys out of recycled milk jugs and use all recyclable packaging. We have quite a few toys from this brand and love them all. Who says all the cars, diggers and trains are only for boys?! Not Green Toys! Easton loves this pink and purple dump truck toy and so would any little girl! They also have plenty of other fun toys in this color scheme, like an awesome tool box!
These Mega Blocks have been a favorite in our house for a few months now! It has been amazing to see Easton be able to learn to use these and actually start to build things with them now. I love how the possibilities for a little one’s imagination are literally endless with these! Not to mention it builds important skills like color recognition and refining their fine motor skills. We use them as bath toys too! They are so versatile, come in awesome colors and let little girls use their imagination to build anything!
