This past weekend I hosted a Baby and Toddler Halloween Art party at my house for some neighborhood moms and their little ones. There are a handful of us who have kids around the same age so we try to get together every once and a while, although it is usually without the kids and with more wine! I wanted to make cute Halloween art using Easton’s hand and footprints last year, but I never got around to it, so I thought a get together where we could make cute Halloween keepsakes and also get the kids together to play would be fun, and it was!
Party Decor and Theme
The adorable Halloween themed divided plate sets and utensils are from Re-Play Recycled, my favorite kid’s tableware brand. They made for the perfect party theme! (You can read more about why I love Re-Play so much here!) I happened to have a felt ball garland that was in the exact same colors too. It was perfect! It made me want to include Re-Play sets in all of my future holiday decor! I also put some Halloween candy into mason jars for a little added touch and that was it!
Each mini party goer also went home with one a snack stacker from Re-Play. I stuffed them with some organic gummy snacks and spooky spider rings from the Target Dollar spot. They were definitely a hit with moms and little ones alike! The perfect party favor!
The party was super laid back and simple, which any party with babies and toddlers should be! Two other moms and I got together to plan cute Halloween themed toddler snacks and pre-paint some canvases beforehand. This way, they were ready to go for the hand and footprints. Babies and paint can be a tricky combination so definitely team up and have multiple adults ready to help for each baby! It was also helpful to have baby wipes close by and ready for immediately afterward.
I think the Halloween handprint and footprint art turned out so cute! I can’t wait to put it up each year and remember how teeny tiny Easton was!
